MIT Quantitative Finance Club

The Quantitative Finance Club (QFC) at MIT is a student-run organization with the goal of ensuring that MIT is a focal point among the quantitative finance community. We are a diverse group of students who come from a variety of backgrounds including Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, and many others. Some of us are experienced finance professionals, others still fresh and untested. Regardless of where we come from we all share one thing in common: a passion for the financial markets and approaching its problems from a quantitative perspective (Oh, we also have a great sense of humor). We aim to meet our goals through a variety of initiatives: Speaker Events, Social Events, Trading Competitions, and the Peer Education Initiative.

In addition, our club executives will regularly update the website with blog posts sharing our insights in various topics of quantitative finance. Check out the below for our featured posts, and look forward to more upcoming events which will be posted here!
